Domain Parking: Getting Accepted Into The Best Domain Parking Companies

Over the last few weeks I have been testing out several new domain parking companies, expect some new reviews soon. However, before I released these new domain parking reviews I wanted to post some tips and ideas to help insure you get accepted into these parking services. With fraud a huge problem that parking companies are having to deal with it is getting tougher and tougher to get accepted into companies for those that are just getting started.

Preparation Makes All The Difference

• Before you dash off and start filling in form after form make sure you have all the information about yourself and your domains ready. You should have the following prior to applying.
• Your entire portfolio list (excel most likely, some companies will let you list all your domains so have this ready).
• Your top ten or so domain names, most companies like to see a “sampling” of your best domain names. So take the time before you get started with filling in that form and compile your best domain names first.
• A short bio about yourself, where you are now with your domaining and your six month and one year goals. Make sure to make this personal and professional

The application time usually takes between 1 to 4 business days, if you have not received a response after about a week then try to contact someone at the company.

What To Do When Your Application Is Denied?

So it happens, especially to those new to domaining. After all these companies want quality generic keyword rich .com domain names, the very same type of names that sell for thousands of dollars at auction every day. How is a newbie domainer suppose to get say 25 of those type of names right off the bat? If your application is not approved then you need to ramp up the communication.

Your goal is to speak with the person who reviews the new applications, yea I said speak. Try to find a phone number for the company and put in a call. You don’t want to be rude, you just want to ask the following:

• Why was my application denied?
• What can I do to get accepted into this company?
• Also mention you can provide prof of domain ownership if any of your names are using whois privacy.

If it is not possible to speak to someone then try to email the company direct. It goes without saying that this email should be written by you to each “denied” company. So far I have had my application denied by two companies – both of which I got into by using these methods.
