Brian Enters A Viral Video Contest & Launches A New Marketing Site

January 7, 2008

Over the weekend I put together my first entry for a viral video contest on YouTube.com that was sponsored by POM (makers of fine pomegranate products). The contest is open to anyone with a few simple rules:

- no nudity
- no alcohol
- video must be no longer than 90 seconds (this was tough - I will explain later)

The good news is that the winner will receive $3000 cash and a new Mac lap top. Since I have been busy quietly launching my new Cooking Recipes Tv.com show online I thought the POM contest would be perfect.

I am the first entry that I know of to “cook” with the tea, this might help my chances of making it to the finals since “creative use of our tea product” was important to the good people over at POM.

This contest brings me to a new site I would like to share with you all.

- ViralVideoMarketing.Us

Over the last nine months I have really embraced online video and it has been a huge part of my success here at DomainParkingMoney.net. In 2008 I am launching several new web projects that will combine video similar to what I have done here.

The new site mentioned above “Viral Video Marketing” will chronicle my journey with video sharing sites like YouTube.com, Metacafe.com and Revver.com. The goal is to drive traffic, get subscribers to my sites and of course make some money along the way.

So if you have any interest in video as a marketing device you might want to check out viral video marketing.
